I love skritter, but I feel a bit insecure knowing that if there was a data loss then I’d need to restart all my record keeping. Is there any way users can download a dump of their vocab and SRS stats?

Skritter’s data is stored and replicated in the cloud with regular data backups, so the chance of significant data loss is low. You can download your vocabulary by going to Skritter - Learn to Write Chinese and Japanese Characters and clicking the “export” link, but you can’t export your scheduling data.
