Is there a way to know how many characters I have REALLY learned?
So not just characters that have been added from a list or characters that I got right once. I mean the amount of characters that I could confidently give as an answer to the question: “how many Chinese characters do you know?”
It’s a bit difficult to definitively track this, however the overall stats is a good approximation of how many characters you’ve actually learned. Items are only counted as correct with at least 24 hours in between reviews, so things that are just added aren’t immediately counted as learned (unless you mark it correct the first time seeing it). You may know more that haven’t been added in the system yet, or could have forgotten some that have already been counted as learned, however when you mark something as incorrect it removes the learned status from that item.
