Hi! I’m using Skritter now since about three weeks, really like it much for training writing and reading the characters but now more and more begin to miss one important feature. What about a mode for learning the active vocabulary, like having only the English or foreign language version and have to know the Chinese characters and/or pinyin. That I really miss for efficiently learning the language. Did I miss some option or it really doesn’t exist?
I’m using the writing prompt to train active vocabulary. Just activate “hide pinyin” setting, so you will only see the definition and example sentence. If you don’t remember the pinyin, you can mark it wrong or not.
Thank you for the tip, that helps a lot. Didn’t think on that. With switching off pinyin it’s perfect for me ^-^
