Number of cards per day spiked

Hi all, I’ve been using Skritter for around 9 months now. Normally, I would add 2-3 new characters per day.

My daily reviews were around 100 until recently (only writing, reading, and definition).

However, a couple of weeks ago, the daily reviews spiked to around 190. Interestingly, this happened around the time I traveled from Asia to the US east coast, so a 12 hour time difference (not sure if this could have caused an issue).

I stopped adding new cards because of this. I haven’t added any cards in the last 2 weeks, however the reviews are still around 190 per day.

I also use Anki. In Anki, as soon as I stop adding new cards, the reviews go down. My daily Anki reviews are less than the Skritter reviews, even though I’m adding 10-15 cards to my Anki deck each day.

Any insights on this? I have around 900 characters in total in my Skritter app. The number of daily reviews seem to high, and I don’t understand why they don’t go down if I stop adding characters for several weeks.

Thanks!

Hi there, thanks for reaching out! Did you happen to add a large number of items at some point? It is possible that these cards are resurfacing, but we can take a look at your account to see what may be going on. You can contact us at team@skritter.com so that we can take a look at your account.
