Polls vs. Posts - how to gauge users' opinions

Do you think it’s a good idea to use polls to gauge user opinions, rather than act on the few voices who bother to write in?

  • No, if you can’t be bothered to write a response your opinion is not that relevant anyway
  • Yes, lurkers form the vast majority
  • Meh/Other

Gauging people’s opinions on polls is a good idea rather than purely acting on a few voices. There are plenty of people who have opinions who just aren’t forward enough to go out of their way to express them.

2 votes, I guess I overestimated the number of lurkers that could be enticed to give feedback this way.
