Can you make flash cards on skitter that use sentences? As in you get promoted a sentence and there’s a word missing so you need to fill it in? I can only figure out how to make single vocabulary decks.

That’s a cool idea. Better than learning whole sentences.
I use the free Chinese language textbook at www.hwyjw.com/textbooks/downloads/zhongwen/ (be sure to translate the site by pasting the link into www.google translate) along with Skritter. It gives very good Chinese language sentences with missing words as exercises.

Fililng in missing words (“cloze testing”) is definitely a good idea, and could probably be done automatically by Skritter as it already knows which characters you are likely to get wrong in a sentence. I suspect we’ll need to wait a while for it though.
