Stroke order for 房 and 吸

The Skritter app shows (and requests) 房 to be written with 撇 and finally 横折钩 as the last two strokes。
Both Pleco and Archchinese give the order of the final two strokes as 横折钩 and then 撇.
Are both correct stroke orders?

Another example is 吸 where 撇 and 横折折折钩 are switched. When I first learned the character a few weeks ago I am pretty sure the order was ‘normal’ (same as Pleco) even on Skritter.

Any thoughts?
