Slang ways to say "我愛你“ and other sweet words!

Stumbled on this article and I thought it would be useful to share: http://www.tutorming.com/blog/index.php/how-to-say-i-love-you-in-chinese-actually/

Here’s a chunk of it to summarize how to say I love you (and a few other sweet words) in Chinese:

520 (wǔ èr líng) = 我爱你 (wǒ ài nǐ) “I love you.”

530 (wǔ sān líng) = 我想你 (wǒ xiǎng nǐ) “I miss you.”

770 (qī qī líng) = 亲亲你 (qīn qīn nǐ) “Kiss you.”

880 (bā bā líng) = 抱抱你 (bào bào nǐ) “Hug you.”

1314 (yī sān yī sì) = 一生一世 (yī shēng yī shì) “Always / forever.” Often combined with 520 so that it becomes 5201314, or “I’ll love you forever

Never heard of 770 before. Thanks for sharing this list!

Thought I would share some Japanese ones

555 - Go go go!
888 - Pachi pachi pachi (sound of applause)
4649 - よろしく (yoroshiku, from 四、六、四(し)、九)

I know my friends from Thailand write 555 to say “hahaha” (=laughing). Actually it is how they pronounce the number “5” (ห้า) in their language

nice new board! by the way: why is my username displayed as 1111?
